Washington, D.C. Site Update
Our top priority is always the safety of our program participants, and WorldStrides has been closely following the District Department of Transportation's "Snow Plan" on the web, which includes live pictures and up-to-the-hour updates on road conditions. For groups currently in Washington, D.C., that have experienced site closings, we have rearranged the order of sites visited to best accommodate as many sightseeing opportunities as possible.
We are pleased to announce that all sites that were affected by the recent snowstorms in D.C. have reopened as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16. Sites that are currently functioning on their normal schedules are as follows:
- Arlington National Cemetery
